As ever by this great author another wonderful book to loose yourself in. This time we have a reluctant situation, where the heart strings of both are played and are so taught. There were times when I wanted to shake Dax , just to give in to his desires, but his resolve was , in his eyes for the best of others.
Wren was his Achilles heel. Drawn to her but knowing at the time he shouldn’t be because of his responsibilities towards his step /son. The story is really an emotional roller coaster. One where tissues may be required.
